Huron River
The upper river is asleep for the winter. Were all looking forward to the Bass opener April 24th 2010. Until then keep tying.

Lower Huron River
Steelhead are present in decent numbers after last weeks rains. This cold weather should have them holding close to the wood. Indicator fishing with large eggs and streamers will take fish.

Centre pins are always a good option on the LoHo this time of year.

Michigan River Reports

Pere Marquette
The PM is running high due to recent rains and a heavy snow dump. Lite colored egg patterns as well as Hex nymphs have been taking fish. If your looking for solitude the PM is a great choice all winter.

Check out The Fish Whisperer for up to date PM reports.

Muskegon
The mighty Mo is holding its own for trout and steelhead. Fishing nymphs and eggs in deep winter pools is the best way to find steelhead. Look for trout near the many springs on the Muskegon. Scuds and small nymphs are the #1 choice for Mo trout.

Check out Feenstra Guideservice for daily reports.

Manistee
As always the Mani is fishing well in December. Recent heavy snowfall has decreased angling pressure but the fish are still there. Clown Eggs have been the number one choice.
