Huron River
Dry fly fishing has been very very good! Isonychia and Brown drakes are taking the lions share of fish on top. Post spawn fish can be found in the faster broken water. Crayfish bugger type patterns and sculpins have been working well. Suggested flies... Trick r Treat, Bandit leech, Rubber Bugger, Sewer Chewer Sculpin, and Autumn Splendor.
Lake St. Clair
Bass fishing is turning on. Water temps have climbed into the mid 60's and fish are hitting the beds. Pre and postspawn fish can be found in 6-10 ft of water off the mile roads. C&F Baitfish, Half & Halfs, Teequellys, and Goby patterns have been doing the trick.
Lower Detroit River
The White Bass blitz is on! 200- 500 fish days are possible. Look for the birds find the bait and cast. Baitfish patterns such as clousers, Half & Halfs, Gummy Minnow, and Deceivers have been working. Check out the latest issue of Eastern Fly Fishing for more info on this emerging FLY fishery.

Pere Marquette
Trout fishing is the name of the game. The Drakes have started. Suggested flies: Sulphurs, Gray Drakes, Lite Cahill,and Mahogonys.
Muskegon
Gray Drake hatch is on!!! Swinging wet flies is working well during the day. Sulphurs, Lite Cahills, Caddis, and of course Gray Drakes.
Upper Manistee
Warm temps have brought famed upper mani to life. Brown Drakes,Sulphurs, and Lite Cahills. Look for Hex to start very soon.
Ausable
Brown Drakes, Mahogonys, Lite Cahill, Sulphurs, and Hex shound be in your box. Dry fly fishing is in full swing. Look for Hex any day.
